I've got a tie-in to Woody Harrelson's hitman dad: I was living in San Antonio when he shot judge John Wood (I don't even have to say "allegedly" since he was convicted for it!). Not only that, my friends, but my boyfriend at the time lived in the same complex as the Judge...and was only two townhouses away from the murder site. He (boyfriend) was questioned by the police. So, there's my brush with true crime. (Believe me, that's as much of a brush as I'd like.) Very interested to read about SF's jails, too, so I will be checking that out later today. People, if you are bored, get on the Line of Duty train! It's on Amazon Prime, and is a British procedural that I believe is at least six - if not seven -seasons long. I'm at the end of season two, and it has been a true roller-coaster ride. I wasn't sure I was on board with it a couple of days ago, but now I AM. Just found out today that my company is shooting to get us back to the office (with some local and individual exceptions) by May 18, which is kind of scaring me, so I will need a LOT more crime to keep me calm.
