Narcissists believe that everything they do, no matter how abusive, immoral, and/or illegal, is unquestionably right; can that be an actual legal defense? I don’t think a jury is gonna buy it, but man, that would revolutionize the insanity defense if they did.
There was a BBC (I think?) podcast on another dodgy sperm donor earlier this year, in our post 23&me world we are going to get a lot of related properties - pun not intended. In fact I'm surprised there's not been a prestige show/film yet. I'd say Hollywood should get on it but, well. Maybe it could be animated?
Not that I’m supporting an argument that lets E. Holmes off the hook, but I have wondered whether she has a mental issue. It’s not one that would rise to an exculpatory level, but there is something off about the way she thinks. I just finished the donor podcast (thank you, Eve), but can someone explain why Audible seems to hide its podcasting content? If I hadn’t had the actual name, I would never have been able to find it in the app. Ugh. Do better, Audible.
