Okay, I just lapped this one up knowing that we’d be discussing Keith R. (I can’t be bothered remembering his spelling.) So we are clear, I find him to be a horrifying probable pedo/misogynist/con man/word soup creator/ cult leader. No love or exculpatory thoughts for this “genius”. But a sentence of 120 years is just asking to be overturned. I would have been fine with a reasonable 75 years. No idea why the trial judge did that - possibly so his first parole opportunity wouldn’t occur for a sufficiently long period of time? I should probably read the ruling before I pop off, but when did that ever stop me? I just finished watching The Vow yesterday and thought it badly needed editing but the last episode really managed to get through to me how frightened the ex-members were of him, with good reason. He would have been nothing without the monetary support of the Bronfmans, and I do mean nothing. I am now very interested to hear from Nancy Salzman about this whole thing. I believe that’s upcoming in season two. As for all the rest of the feast you’ve laid out for us - I can hardly wait to dig in. Fortunately, a road trip approacheth.
