That Butoh article is haunting, I vividly remember it; that said, it's so difficult to look at assigning blame for a suicide. I am not saying people shouldn't be held to account, whether they contributed through abuse, or were neglectful of their professional duties (something similar happened to a family friend, and the resulting legal battle was incredibly grim but necessary). But I'm wary of a judicial system that turns on the poorest and less-able-to-defend themselves in so many other cases to be able to fairly do so.
