I’m on episode 3 and I am a huge fan of Jen Sutphin, the pink-and-purple-haired talking head from the Fundie Fridays YouTube channel. I can’t believe what a some of the non-Duggar victims are saying. One woman literally said she was jealous of her friends who were raped because God wanted to use them more than her. Jesus H, that is 50 shades of f’ed up. I’m waiting for episode 4 because Paul and Morgan, who got like 2 minutes of screen time, are melting down on Instagram over their portrayal. The Fundie Snark Uncensored subreddit is LIT today.
Binged all of it and the sheer audacity is sooooo much more...audacious than I could’ve thought. Very empathic hosts from a variety of places now, despite their common bond of that awful Gethard (sp?).
I’m also low-key-sliding-towards-high-key aware that a photo of one of these sites in Chicago is in a very nearby suburb & is built in the most bizarre way. If it’s true, will send photo to Eve & Sarah!

And I hate being the annoying “that person” two comments in a row, but I wrote a bit on the “Medical Mysteries” essay and was left a bit grumpier than is typical for me? I’m also not hating Natalia Grace because I’m finding it a fascinating portrait of a suburban marriage. I’m deliberately setting aside the fact that these people dumped A CHILD off to live in her own apartment, and focusing on their ruin of a marriage, and the insanity of the number of people the wife wanted to have sex with (apparently).
