I know very little about Dahmer, and I really liked the RM series about Andrew Cunanan*, so I will probably watch it... unless I find out it has graphic scenes of cannibalism. I can't handle that.
*to be fair, a lot of that had to do with Judith Light, and with Aimee Mann singing "Drive"
I watched the first episode of Dahmer, realized it was ten episodes long, and then questioned whether I wanted to subject myself to, really, any of his grizzly crimes. I decided I didn't, so I skipped to episode 7, which basically just continues where episode 1 leaves off, and features Niecy Nash a lot, and then watched episode 10, so I could see him get killed in prison. And that's all I need out of "Dahmer - Monster: The Jefferey Dahmer Story"! (Also anyone else get "Anvil! The Story of Anvil" vibe from that title??)
I finished watching it and loved it. I didn't fully know the story nor did I know it took place an hour or so where I'm living now. Crazy. I feel like it was a good portrayal of the story (although I've seen where the victims family didn't even know about this coming out so I kind of dislike that part). Kinda reminds me of Candy. I used to study film and all that, so I really loved them silencing scenes to put us right with those who were deaf to try to understand their life.

I’m absolutely loving the show so far. I’m usually the contrarian in these comments streets, so as SDB says, I’ll see myself out. Haa.
VF's Richard Lawson interrogates the series far more crisply than I managed: https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2022/09/netflixs-dahmer-cant-conquer-its-grim-fascination
