Jeff Jensen's comic book on the Green River Killer is good, but a straightforward adaptation of it would probably veer towards copaganda (Jensen's dad was a lead detective on the case).
Maybe it is covid-related, but my guess is that Peterson's got a C.O. girlfriend on death row at San Quentin.
