Well, this swarthy miscreant hopes everyone has listened to those two “Reply All” episodes dealing with phishing. They are called Long Distance 1 and 2, and my jaw dropped when listening. Every couple of days I get robocalls telling me that my SSN has been stolen, and I’ll be sent to jail if I don’t call XYZ number, which is nothing but a call center in India wanting me to send them all my personal information. Sometimes it’s fun to play with them; mostly it’s annoying. I block the calls and move on. Luckily, the “Reply All” team didn’t. Hopefully this weekend I can get back into reading “Solitary” by Albert Woodfox, which I’m definitely enjoying. I’m learning more about the Black Panther Party than I ever knew, although I keep hearing Forrest Gump’s voice in my head!!
