Starlee Kine would be a good choice for the Omegle podcast, sure, or maybe Chana Joffe-Walt. Most of the This American Life folks are gentle enough for it to sound sincere. That story sounds very upsetting, though. I'm not sure I could listen to a podcast about that.
Didn't Town and Country also do a marvellous hit job on the Sacklers a while back? Writing about the wealthy should sharpen one's prose up, if it doesn't drive you to Maoism!
