Those NXIVM people really give me the willies. I am incredulous that anyone falls under their spell, especially Raniere's. The most recent episode of The Vow had footage of an infomercial of the MLM he started in the 80s, and I was dying laughing at what a creep he was/is. I am glad to hear Clare Bronfman is getting locked up. I hope Raniere, Allison Mack, and Nancy Salzman get sentenced soon.
1. Nancy Grace, never. (Unless BE tells me she has some stellar property.)
2. I listened to, and enjoyed the majority of, Teacher’s Pet. It was clear to me from the beginning that the host reflected the general community thinking that the husband was guilty. I am not at all surprised by this development. If I lived in Oz, it would be difficult for me to serve on a jury with an open mind, because he is so clearly guilty. This can be a huge issue when unsolved cases are discussed, and it’s one that I think legal systems around the world are slow to wake up to. While I’m sure the statute of limitations has run, I would love to see that SOB prosecuted for rape - what he was allowed to do to school girls was criminal. Just because he was an athlete, too. Grrrr. 🤬
