Watched the Texas Killing Fields thing on the weekend, was engaged the whole way through. I think they maybe could have spent more time on the whole 'decided a man was guilty even though the evidence was circumstantial, threatened him with bodily harm and death, and drove him to suicide' angle of talking to Tim Miller, but I did appreciate that they brought it up at all.

I always like a cold case that mostly hinges on the fact that the police did less than the bare minimum at the time, it's always excellent to know that this is an enduring and ongoing legacy of inaction in times of need. That they solve anything is a goddamn miracle, I swear to god.

I picked up the Vatican Girl one after finishing with Texas, and mostly I'm left with the reconfirmed knowledge that everything in Italy is more complicated and dramatic than it would be anywhere else in the world and I am allowed because I am also Italian. Do love all the lovely shots of Rome and Vatican City tho, big fan of the b-roll on this show.
