This is a good post! Boston, the mob, polygamy! I know that little town Medford in WI. Not surprising they moved there.

A while back, we had a Friday question about favorite heists. Well, I didn’t respond because I’m not a heist gal. Oh, really? retorted my subconscious when I saw this documentary about the ISG heist was dropping. I literally love this crime. That’s not to say that I think people should go around pirating pieces from museums, but the idea of someone having a secret room in his/her home where these paintings now reside - and the pathos that they can never be shown to anyone else - just gets me. I want to know where they are, how it happened, who contributed, etc. Not to put too fine a point upon it: I will be watching this tonight.

I am so excited to watch This is a Robbery that I decided not to do it tonight because I'm exhausted and want to be able to pay attention. I loved Last Seen and have listened to it at least twice. I work at a small museum in a historic house built for the purpose of displaying the family's art in the 1920s (though our collection is nowhere near that of the ISGM, but there are some valuable items), and our director worked for a long time in Boston. I need to talk to him about this! I also need to check out the other books and docs in your links, so thanks for a map for my viewing and reading in the near future.
