This one really got me, too. Has David Sklansky never heard of forfeiture? Once convicted, your ill-gotten gains may be seized by the government. I’d argue she had intent to defraud; if found guilty, anything she purchased with those Theranos dollars should be fair game for seizure. And don’t even get me started on the process of buying justice (see: OJ Simpson) - it’s expensive. What is it that makes men feel they want to protect her? I so want you guys to cover this trial.
