Not a big John Douglas aficionada, here. All those FBI guys seem to think they need to wash their hands before they pee, if you know what I mean. Also, can we acknowledge that we even have the word “serial” to acknowledge things presented to us in installments? That is a huge part of what made the podcast compelling. I think if it had dropped all at once it still would have been a great listen, but its Perils-of-Pauline-esque structure definitely left you on the edge of your seat. I’d been listening to podcasts forever when serial came out. I meant to listen to it when people kept raving about it but never did. I still haven’t.
