I wonder if this is an unpopular opinion, but season two of “Mindhunter” is cringey and nearly unwatchable. The BTK scene with the Roxy Music song was perfectly unnerving, but I can’t get past how much I despise the character Holden. I’m only on the second episode and I had to abandon it. The David Berkowitz clown makeup and the insufferable dialogue is asking a lot of me. For instance: the show’s writers find it necessary to ensure the audience understands the characters are black by including a misplaced reference to how the child watched “The Jeffersons.” Thank you for the explanation, writers.
