I refused to listen to the allegations against Woody Allen for a long time, too, although I don't think I was aware of Dylan's abuse until I had already decided he was scum. (It was Soon-Yi being groomed as a teenager that I was in denial about.) My favorite movies were Woody Allen movies for a long time. I don't think I could bring myself to watch them.
No opinion re: Drew, because I've never been much of a fan of her, but I recently read Parker Posey's 2018 memoir, in which she talks about working with Allen, Louis C.K., and having previously dated Ryan Adams -- not once does she mention anything bad they did. Ok, it looks like Posey's memoir came out before Ryan Adams faced allegations of grooming an underage girl, but definitely not Allen or C.K. I was really bummed, because I love Parker Posey, and I lost some respect for her. That said, I also get it -- it's terrible to be in that position in the first place, through no fault of her own, but at the same time, she surely knew people would be wondering what her take was. (I'm not so mad that I'm going to stop watching her performances; she'd basically have to kill one of my cats for that to happen... although she did say that she doesn't "get" cats, which was another black mark against her.)
