I lived near Dixon at the time and went to the US Marshall auction. Definitely not a Pie Oh My sitch- her horses were top of the line and well cared for (on the taxpayers dime of course). We all wondered how she afforded the sheer number of horses and how she could compete and Win at the level she did. It has become a bit of a “thing” to own a horse or a piece of tack that came from her “business” (racket, maybe)?
