On the podcast front, I highly recommend Canary. It's really impactful and I love the way it walks through how you do investigative journalism. For all us process-y people, it's quite revelatory. I came away very moved by the people we meet and wowed by the professionalism of the journalists telling their stories.
Oh that murder ballads podcast sounds very much up my alley. Relatedly, if anyone else loves murder ballads, check out the album Oh Willy Please by Vandaveer, it's got some very good versions of classics.
Did anyone else spend much of the weekend reading the epic Angels and Demons longread that Eve recced last week, only to forward it on to like 12 people?

I don’t know what’s more cringe. Toobin jerking off or a bunch of dorks from the New Yorker performing political cosplay on the computer. Smh.
