I was so positive that Bad Education was a This American Life story but I was confusing it with Petty Tyrant (episode 419); what is so engaging about seeing crimes set in the particular microcosm of a school? Alas, it's not getting a UK release until October so I will have to wait (nice to have something to look forward to, I suppose.)
The Daily Beast is one of the publishers I plonked down for a digital subscription this month, they seem to have kinda come into their own and have some excellent true crime long reads if you need luring past the paywall.
Murder to Mercy: I am so much less likely to watch. Sounds really exploitative and money grubbing. Netflix really turned a corner for me with the success of their tiger-sploitstion series. Now every new project seems greasy and suspect. I just can’t. So, thanks, Sarah, Eve, and awesome guests, for bringing us deeper thoughts about shallow projects and finding worthy content I would never otherwise find! You all are awesome! And eff Nancy Grace.
