That Murder Among the Mormons trailer is strong, after the Crime Scene/Night Stalker docs left such a bad taste in my mouth I did not want to trust Netflix again, but this looks right up my street!

I also cannot wait for my copy of Last Call to arrive! It's got to be my most anticipated 2021 release along with Patrick Radden Keefe's opus on the Sackler family, Empire of Pain. A couple of other recent true crime books that I've got on my library hold list: Two Truths and a Lie: A Murder, a Private Investigator, and Her Search for Justice by Ellen McGarrahan and American Seral Killers: The Epidemic Years 1950-2000 by Peter Vronsky (don't know much about this title, but I am hoping it's got a little Bill James/Popular Crime flavor to it and dives into the media myth-building around this topic).

I'm pretty excited that a documentary about the Salamander forgeries has finally been made! I always thought it would make a pretty perfect American Crime Story type anthology series. I'm not sure if this is the other book you were thinking about, but in addition to Salamander, I really enjoyed A Gathering of Saints: A True Story of Money, Murder, and Deceit by Robert Lindsey.
