Wearing my floppy white hat to commend you on this lovely list! I’ve read it all (humble brag or no life, you be the judge) including the Errol Morris defense, which really only works if you’ve gone decades since reading Fatal Vision. I coincidentally just finished reading Janet Malcolm’s Iphigenia in Forest Hills: Anatomy of a Murder Trial, and it is a high recommend for me. Her desert-dry style is much better suited to the analysis of the legal system, rather than the emotional ties binding complicated relationships. I know I say it often, but Best Evidence is the best money I have spent in YEARS. (And that includes shoes, people.) Thank you, thank you.
Jeffrey MacDonald: A reading list
Wow, 50 years. That is wild. The Weingarten piece from The Washington Post of my favorite profiles ever!
