Doing the Snoopy dance over the fact that you enjoyed The Ratline! As a devoted Who Weekly listener (so I can learn everything I need to know about the people I don’t) while I agree the Nazis are a collective Them, some of the individual players are definitely Whos - and Whos who were allowed to run amok, killing as they could. I found the banality of some of the letters to be devastating. I forget how I found out about that podcast, but I was riveted by it. Not a fan of Broken Harts, oddly enough. I am not sure this should have been more than a two-episode podcast just because we didn’t have enough information about the family itself. We had a very unreliable narrator in Jennifer, and another sort of cipher in Sarah. There just wasn’t enough “there” there for me. I thought it was a better article than podcast for that reason. Thanks for taking us along on your road trip!
