The crime The August 1969 murders of Sharon Tate, Jay Sebring, Abigail Folger, Wojciech Frykowski, and Steven Parent; and Leno and Rosemary LaBianca…for starters. Also this correspondent is guilty of misdemeanor nana for still having a Netflix DVD account, but it’s the only way I could write up…
I actually enjoyed I Just Killed My Dad, much more that THitP. I was expecting typical prosecutorial blinders over the crime, and to see the change as we uncovered more of the story was heartening. I also found the underlying story of the (legal?) abduction to be really frightening for a powerless mother - how many other women are in similar positions? I thought there was a lot more to this than some true crime tropes. And it was worth it to see years of pain and worry fall from AJ at the end.
