I rewatched To Catch a Thief over the weekend and was reading about the hotel in the film, the Carlton in Cannes and quickly got sucked into reading everything about a heist there in which one lone guy (!) made off with more than $100m in diamonds. Kinda seemed so laconic the word 'heist' doesn't even seem to apply.
