I saw that 2016 production (remember live theatre?? *sobs*), and went on a Soeurs Papin binge afterwards. There's a very arty 1994 movie called Sister My Sister (impeccable cast), and I seem to recall that Sartre's introduction to the play is very good, but for the love of Jean Genet I can't find a version online anywhere. The play itself is available (scanned PDF here http://web.mit.edu/jscheib/Public/phf/themaids.pdf), and there's a 50 minute documentary on YouTube which I seem to recall as being servicable.
Yay. So happy the Jersey book won out (represent). And I plan to check out Higher Love as soon as I can put down this Andre Agassi memoir, which I can’t.
