Has anyone read any Darcy O'Brien? A couple of weeks ago on the New York Times Review of Books podcast one of the critics mentioned he was read O'Brien's memoir (his parents were early film stars) and read a paragraph that was very good, but that he usually wrote true crime. So obviously I looked him up. I ordered "The Hillside Stranglers" which has a typical lurid red and black serial killer paperback look but I'm hoping he brings some of his memoir flair to the text ...
