Anyone else see the link to an "Under the Influence" podcast and think, Terry O'Reilly published what? I now have more questions:

1) How do companies deal with acquiring weird reputations like "y’all, why is it always Michael’s"?

2) What happens with similar or identical podcast titles? Are they treated like business names or more like song titles?

For the record, Terry O'Reilly's podcast is a repub of his CBC Radio show about marketing. It was called "Age of Persuasion" when it was more about advertising, but it can best be explained as, if 99 Percent Invisible says that everything is design, Under the Influence says that everything is marketing.

I listened to the Under the Influence ep and it's worth the time for a thoughtful discussion of all the threads of the case - class, gender, race, skincare.
