Here's a Google doc of BLM resources, from media tips, petitions, places to donate, relevant twitter threads, protesting info, education - it's exhaustive: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-0KC83vYfVQ-2freQveH43PWxuab2uWDEGolzrNoIks/mobilebasic

Sari Botton has a great list of resources to help journalists & increase diverse media: https://adventuresinjournalism.substack.com/p/supporting-journalists-and-journalism

And if after that, you'd like some background on just why people are encouraged to avoid Shaun King's PAC, then here's a recent article https://www.thedailybeast.com/shaun-king-keeps-raising-money-and-questions-about-where-it-goes-3 (less relevant but sometimes media gossip is a salve in these tough times)

I'd like to acknowledge Slate for putting in its headlines, using active verbs, what NYPD has done over the last few days. None of that "what occurred between law enforcement and protestors" nonsense. https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2020/05/nypd-cruisers-drive-into-protesters-brooklyn-floyd.html

And I've been working my way through that Google doc myself. - SDB

I was in a charity scavenger hunt this weekend that changed course to deal with the BLM issue. Instead of a fun Zoom event, the organizers (Supernatural’s Misha Collins and Jensen Ackles) invited four Black activists, including the amazing “Klan Whisperer” Daryl Davis, to have a conversation on racial inequality and injustice. You can view it at https://youtu.be/lcOeBHYkRjw . I watched it live and felt I learned a lot.
